New years eve
Is my favorite holiday and I don’t want anybody to fuck it up for me

It really bothers me when people talk about family money and assume I am spoiled. Which in some ways I am but mostly less so than the average middle class family. But I perpetuate it as well with a weird pseudo superiority complex especially when I’m drunk so, whatevs.
I think for most people when they go back home its like Yayyy party hang out etc. I got here and my bestie was like “do you have a book? Wanna read?” And I was like Hell yeah! So that was my first night back and I ain’t even mad.
Sometimes thought catalog is too sad
And it’s always a surprise at the end like bam oh yeah actually my best friend died lol sorry!

Im smart, but I am not applicably smart enough to be great at anything. Of course, that is what I want, to be excellent at something, but I cant be. I am moderately average at everything I do.
The sad thing is, I am too lazy to put in the work to be anything but okay at things. I am not exceptional and that breaks my heart.
What the fuck is the point of being smart if you arent good at...
